The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District Four, is conducting a Project Development and Environment (PD&E) study at the SR-9/I-95 at SR-804/Boynton Beach Boulevard Interchange and the SR-9/I-95 at Gateway Boulevard Interchange.  The project limits are shown on the location map below.

The purpose of the project is to enhance overall traffic operations and improve the Level of Service (LOS) at the existing interchanges to accommodate projected travel demand. The PD&E study will also consider Strategic Intermodal System (SIS) connector improvements needed within the project area and will be consistent with plans for SR-9/I-95, including the potential extension of express lanes through Palm Beach County.

Click on the various pages of this website for information about the PD&E study process, future public involvement meetings, the project schedule, and information on how to contact FDOT’s Project Manager.
